The 2014 edition of the Language Workbench Challenge is starting now. The program committee has completed an assignment definition for this new challenge. This time, next to showing that a language can be created and used, participants are challenged to demonstrate how their language workbench of choice supports collaboration in (large) teams and how it supports creation and use of large models.
Participating in the workshop is possible in two ways.
- As a submitter: submit a report on how you are going to take up the challenge. If your report is accepted, you will be invited to present your working solution at the workshop
- As a visitor: register for participation in the workshop through the Code Generation registration site: https://cg2014.eventbrite.co.uk/
Note that in both cases a small fee may apply to cover for the cost of catering and location. We’re still discussing the details of this.
The detailed assignment can be found here: Call for Participation LWC 2014 (v5).
Information about reference implementation and the focus assignment is provided through our blog, here.
